Since Blogger decided to be a royal pain in the butt this morning and we are rushing off to do some Irish touristing this morning, I'm having to start in reverse order.
Here is our first dog, Bella, a few Christmases ago. She now lives with my parents and has found her true home there. Bella is not a dog and lives with my parents' other not-a-dog, Rocky. In a former life, Bella was a sumo wrestler. My mom says she's "chesty". I like that.

I can't resist Tex's baby pictures. Usually I consider dressing dogs in clothing to be silly, unless they are on some sort of search and rescue mission. But here is baby Tex in a Clear Brook-colored football jersey.
Here is grown-up Tex in his favorite spot in the house. Just a few feet away from the previous picture taken a year before. He didn't move much in between the taking of the two pictures.

This picture inspired my title. Here is Blanco staring at the sun. John and I agree that this picture gives you insight into his true character. He's a pretty squinty, shifty-eyed dog. And, yes, white is his natural color. Although my friend Kat's son discovered that Blanco's skin is mostly black, so he is truly not a "white" dog as his name implies. I'm sure he'll be in puppy therapy soon.
Here's Blanco in his favorite place in the house: in YOUR face licking you. Here he is "attacking" my dad. This was during a point in the dogs' lives when there was no male influence in the house and they just latched on to any men they saw.
We're headed out westerly way to take pictures and support the tourism economy, so I'm sure I'll have something non-dog-related to post by the evening.

You know I seriously considered stealing Blanco after a trip to your house once. I think your "babies" are so sweet!
I am off to enjoy my Spring Break! Wish we could meet up for some coffee (now that we both agree that it won't endanger the little ones).
They look so sweet. Those dogs are going to be SO happy to see you when they arrive in April.
What Breed is Tex? He looks Belgian Malinois
Aimee: Thank you. Blanco sure is a charmer, so I completely understand. Miss you!!!! Enjoying a decaf tea w/ milk right now!
Karmyn: Tex is a mix--we were told husky with german shepherd but who knows! I looked up GM, and he does look a lot like them. Are they lazy dogs? If so, then Tex might be one!!! I miss them!!!!
Ahhh thank you, that's much better.
I like them both, I like Tex because he looks cool, and I like Blanco because he looks like my kind of dog.
