WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!

So I've been dealing with stopped up ears for the last two days. I don't think I'm getting sick (AGAIN), but nonetheless, I feel like I am going crazy. Everything is very. . ..fuzzy. And it makes me think my balance is off every once in a while. Basically, a royal pain. I feel like I'm hearing everything in surround sound or something. Oh well. . .
So today I have some random pictures for you.

As an appetizer, here is the photo I just realized I'm going to use for the next Fun Monday: Really Awful Hair. I truly have a cute haircut; I've just been unmotivated to do my hair lately. . .
Oh, and the huge bump in the pic is the baby belly at 29+ weeks. I'll post more pics on my Shutterfly account (in most of them I'm cracking up hysterically at my DH--it was late and I've been laughing like a banshee lately (better than any other options)). Stop on by in an hour or so. . . you can see my non-matching sports bra plus tank top combo--'cause I'm classy like that. First course is Blanco giving his best "Designer Dog" pose in his new favorite spot in the house--the upstairs back bedroom windowsill. I just can't get enough of him chilling out here. It's hilarious! Too bad our sills are just too narrow back home for him to set up surveillance on. So cute!
Second course is Tex as a Designer Dog. He's going for the cutesy but rugged Ralph Lauren look. Actually, I found the bandanas some friends had given us at our going away to Poland-no-Ireland party. The new accessories inspired some vigorous fighting (see Shutterfly). I was experimenting with the take-many-pics-at-a-time function on the camera for the fight sequence. Still need some practice!

Dessert service up a heaping helping of my Banditos protecting the homestead. Seriously, nary a fly can alight on the window without them raising the full alarm.

Just FYI: The travel company was finally able to book us out of Dublin at 2 May. I think we got the last two seats on the plane that were not in the middle. Many thanks to my DH for making that happen. . .
So Beccy and Tami (I know you are reading this, chica!!!) we will actually have almost two days in Dublin--what are the non-negotiable must-sees?
Heading off to my next trick. . .

Such lovely photos I had a dog who used to like looking out of the windows but that was from a sofa ( she liked her comfort). I didn't even notice the bad hair day, glad you'll get a couple of days in Dublin there's so much to see but I'll leave that to those who live there- does the 'must see' include beccy!!

Ok, now you're starting to look a little pregnant.

That first picture of Blanco looks like those dogs in the Pharaoh's tombs.

You are TOO CUTE! I love the bump. It's strange to compare how big we are now to just a few months ago. WOW, what a change!

The dogs are so sweet. I really could imagine stealing Blanco one day. I think he and Tabi could get along. No?? Oh well.

I can't believe you are heading home in just a few weeks. Crazy! Miss you!

ChrisB: Blanco likes the back of the sofa as well. The view is just not as interesting as this one of our neighbor building an addition to their house
WT: He is SO regal, isn't he? Such a stately dog though he comes from such modest origins. . .if you squint and tilt your head and imagine a different coat and curly tail, Blanco could almost be a Basenji, I think (he used to yodel, not bark, when we first got him. . .). Close enough to those pharaoh hounds, anyway!
Stiggs: Yeah, hard to believe we really look the part no, huh? I know you have your eye on Blanco. Tab would probably boss him around and make him even more nutty!!! We fly home in exactly two weeks! Craziness!!!

Sabrina I would love to meet up with you, email me with your plans and we'll sort something out.

I'm so excited, I'm going to meet a fellow blogger.

Great bump!

Hey, if you're into history, stop by Trinity College Library in Dublin and see the Book of Kells. Worth the visit.

Beccy: looks like we can merge our plans for a meeting of the minds (yours, and, well, yours)
CC: Thanks for the rec. Was planning on it, but the guide book sort of poo-poo'ed it (now when did I start listening to those liars??)

You're adorable el-preggo and is something wrong with me? I don't think your hair is "bad"...maybe because I've seen some pretty sad pics of my own.

How cool is it that you and Beccy are going to meet? VERY cool!

Have you taken naked baby bump pictures? I won't show you mine if you won't show me yours ;).

Precious poocharellas, too:)!

Robin: my DH needs no encouragement for nudie baby bump pics. Maybe when I am larger and more whale-like and just too slow to stop him. . .

oh it doesn't surprise me that the guide books gave the Book of Kells a bad rap...you do have to stand in line for a ticket...then walk through in line almost like you're at Disneyland...but it's still cool...plus the other part of the library houses some very unique first editions...
