Today we went for our six-week check-up with Bernadette, our midwife at the birthing center. We both are A-OKAY, 100% and can do whatever we want now.
But the BIG news is that the Z man weighs 13 pounds, 4 ounces!!! At 6 weeks!!! Whew!! What a big baby!!!
Here's my cutie in a super-comfy outfit from his Grammy. I want some comfy pants like this, too!By the way. . .Bernadette has delivered 8 babies at her birthing center since Zane 6 weeks ago, and while we were there today there were two moms in labor. Whew! Crowded!!! Pretty exciting stuff for her! She's expanding!!
It was sad to know that this was my last appointment with Bernadette until we decide to have another baby. I know the time will fly and I'll be back in her care before we know it. Whew! Crazy to think about!!!
Right now it's time to focus on the little man. He's growing so fast!!!!!

Okay Sabrina, I am stalking you now. I got an email (somehow I am still on the meals for new mom's list at your church) for the Kooglers and went back to find your blog and look at more cute baby pictures. He is just so cute I want to squeeze him :) Too bad we don't still live in Pearland...haha lucky for you!!! I am a baby hog. Zac says thanks a lot for giving me baby fever!

Aaaawwww...what a doll! Don't worry too much about size. Once he starts getting mobile, all that cute baby fat will re-distribute. I wanted to have a cute "chunky" kiddo, but it just wasn't meant to be. Even with everything we've been through, I wouldn't trade AJ for anything! Your roller coaster ride is just starting...enjoy every minute of it.
