Time for another post of randomness. . .

Okay, the kid is responding to the Bjorn (passed out and probably going to spit up down my shirt sometime) so I have a few more seconds to post.

* We had a wonderful anniversary--thank you all for the well wishes--and enjoyed breakfast for dinner (my DH makes the world's greatest pancakes and I've been craving them since they are not on my diet. . .) and some champagne (same kind as from our wedding) and nice gifts

* My DH gave me something VERY, VERY sparkly for our anniversary. I should have a baby more often. . .

* We went on our furthest trip yet with the munchkin in the car on Saturday--we drove a whopping 30 minutes to the Babies R Us, where we bought a running stroller.

* It's funny that I am ready to be back into running before the kid is physically able to run. That's okay. . .he'll be sitting up on his own soon enough.

* This morning I trotted out a few jogging steps to try to get the Z-man back home from our walk a little sooner as he was hollering, and I felt every single ounce of the 12 lbs I'm still carrying from my pregnancy in my knees. Getting back into running is going to be more difficult than I thought, but at least I am wanting to run.

* This week was my first week to not meet my Weight Watcher's weight loss goal. I "maintained" but it's still disappointing that I didn't lose a meager pound. Oh well, it took months to gain all this weight; it will take time to lose it.

* Maybe not losing my lb. this week will be the motivation I need to get back into the swing of things.

* I've wanted to post more pics but just don't seem to have the time. All pics of the little man are at my Shutterfly account if you want to check them out.

You don't see many of the running strollers here in Bristol (or a least I haven't) I am amazed that you even feel like running!!

I've taken a 16+ month hiatus from running (jeez, how the time flies) and I MISS it! I've blamed the Texas heat, the Shanghai heat, getting a sufficient workout from kickboxing and being pregnant to excuse myself from running and now I am not going to use THE BABY as an excuse! The running stroller is WAY, WAY too huge for the UK or Ireland and we would never have bought one there but since we are in the land of wide open spaces and manifest destiny. . .bring on the monster stroller!
