BIG. By far, not my favorite Tom Hanks movie. Perhaps because that "Zoltar" machine was straight outta "Something Wicked This Way Comes", which is *totally freaky*. Perhaps because of that annoying red-headed friend with the jean jacket. Or because the kid is totally getting it on with the big-haired girl from his office and that's just. . ..eeeew.
Now I realize the underlying "fear factor" of that movie. It's every mother's nightmare: that her little one grows up (literally) overnight and is gone forever. Your "baby" is no longer your baby.

And that's how we're feeling over here in my house these days.
It seems that Zane's one objective is to be BIG. He wants to eat what we eat; drink when we drink; stand; sit; walk; crawl; run--all way before he is ready to do these things. He even imitates us as we read (okay, so grabbing the book/magazine/paper and eating it hardly constitutes "reading" but, well, you know. . .).
What happened to my little lump of an infant? Now I have a sitting up, inchworm, roly-poly, "talking", spoon-wielding little person. And it's GREAT! I love each new thing he can do, but it's all happening TOO FAST. Pretty soon he'll have his own blog.
And I know I can't lament the passing of his infancy too much because, well, that's just how things go. But I can remember to treasure every single moment. Including this one when he is hollering at me to get off the stupid computer and play with him. Better heed that--won't be too long before he's begging for the car keys to get as far away from me as possible. . .

What a cute little chap he is. Happy Christmas to you all.
Z is a BIG guy! He is so sweet. I need to video tape Bay more often. Or else I'm scared I will miss or forget something!
He looks very much like my youngest did at that age. She looked like a precious moment
To Sabrina and Family,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
