Just a-swangin'

So yesterday was Easter and it was a CHAMBER OF COMMERCE day, for sure. So we made sure to head out to the park and get the kid in the swing. Of course, camera in tow, I tried out a different technique just to see what I would get.
"Panning" did not feel very natural and I think I looked really silly following the arc of Zane's swinging motion with my whole body. Anyway. . .it was fun. I think this one is my favorite. Or maybe this one. But you would need the back story on the "mominthepurpleshirt" and the INSANELY chilly vibe she was giving off. I think I totally was freaking her out.
Whatever.

While we're talking about swinging, though. . . My DH has has a very pendulous day today. He was assigned jury duty and this was a second summons as, AHEM, we DID NOT RECEIVE THE FIRST SUMMONS in the mail. Ahem. Cough. Cough.
Anyway. . .he drove down to the courthouse in Angleton this morning only to be told to return at 1PM. So he drove to Sugarland to work a few hours and then headed back to Angleton. Where he learned upon arriving that he needs to report tomorrow at 9AM. So he drove back out to work to do as much as humanly possible before his is inevitably assigned to a jury tomorrow.

Karma is a big fat hairy badger just waiting to chew off your face.

Oh, and it doesn't help that petrol costs, like, $4 a gallon now. Jeez. . .At least it's a gorgeous day for a drive!!!!
