So I've been using some cloth diapers (BumGenius AIO and One-Size) for about a week now. I have to say I'm pleased with the general ease of cloth.
And I SURVIVED my first cloth poopie diaper.
Yeah, it was pretty gross. I quickly understood why one of my cloth-using friends changes all diapers in her bathroom.
But at least it kept it all where it was supposed to be (unlike the disposable he was wearing today. ..grrrr. . .)
I'll be trying a Happy Heiny One-Size and a Haute Pocket OS this week and am interested to see the difference, if any.
Have I seen a reduction in my garbage? Oh, yeah. I'm definitely meeting my 50% goal. It's really nice to have the 'sposies on hand when I need them or am just not feeling up to cloth. But I feel great about the switch.
Another bonus? Z's pants finally fit his tiny hiney better now that he has a little more bulk with the cloth. So cute!

So - um - how exactly did you take care of the poop? I really am going to need to know this.
e-mail me.
I'm glad to hear the cloth diapers are working out! I am still thinking maybe I'll switch over when she is closer to 18 months and I want to start potty training. Hmmm, I just don't know.
