Z had his first fever this week. He was a total trooper and only slowed down to Mach 3 from
LightSpeed for a little while before being back to normal. Honestly, it was kind of nice to not chase him around for the hour and a half before the Tylenol kicked in completely.
Note to self: Infants' Tylenol is unbelievably sticky and messy at 4 in the morning when trying to administer a dose to a squirming, half-asleep baby. Suck it up and turn on a light so you don't end up with it in your (A)hair (B)pajamas (C)bedsheets (D) all of the above.
You'll find my "obligatory" Bluebonnet picture below, but I've discovered there's only one thing cuter than my baby in the bluebonnets: my baby in a
Hawaii'an shirt.

I practically had to pry the ladies at the pediatrician's office off my son this morning, he was so cute.

Z also took another step--twice--today. He's not stepping from standing on his own yet--that's still to come--but we are getting closer and closer to walking. I'm done being all "Oh, my baby is growing up too fast". Go ahead and bring it on.
Not much else exciting this week. But that's a good thing considering the fever could have brought on all kinds of
nutsoness.
Hallelujer!
Have a great weekend!

Glad Z is feeling better. And he looks so hunky in his shirt - kinda Magnum PI. He just needs a mustache.
