So today my husband graced my blog with the honor of his presence. Shocking, yes, I know.
He checks up on me to make sure I haven't been slandering him about once a week. So, whew, clear on that front; however, he did chastise me for not posting.
Well. . .duh, refer to my last post to know why I haven't been posting. Too much Tupperware.
Actually, that's only part of the problem.
You see, now that I am transferring the blog into printable format, I'm taking a long, hard look at what I post.
Going back through two years of early blogger posts will do that. Wow. I had some seriously dumb and random stuff. And some really boring stuff. Like knitting. What the heck was I doing with all the knitting?
Anyway. . .other than realizing I want to make my posts "count" and be meaningful for all posterity, etc. etc. I just have not been able to sit down and put one post together.
Sure, I could ramble about the things I've been thinking about posting about, namely:
-how grossed out I am by all the band-aids left at the park, bounce house, or any other high-kid-traffic area
-how I've become addicted to Facebook and catching up with random and faraway people through it
-running updates (and how I must have had a lobotomy to not be able to read my GPS watch thingy)
-random baby updates (do you really want to know what random things he's been saying/doing/eating/climbing/understanding?)
-random randomness like this post
Anyway. . .so here is all I've got:
Last weekend I bought a poop scoop at PetsMart to reclaim the back yard (all 25 square feet of it).
As you can see, Zane appropriated the pooper scooper immediately and "scooped" every square inch of our house with it. (That's his other favorite "toy"--a pot--on the floor to the right, btw)
Since the taking of this photo I have since replaced the pooper scooper with an appropriate popper-type walking toy for the baby and the scooper is working wonders on the back yard.
Wow. I think talking about pup poop brings me down to a new low for my posting. Not so sure this one will make it into the blog book!

hey you commented over at Dreaming What Ifs... and I really need some cloth diaper advice. Basically about the laundry soap to be used (and how much due to extra super duper concentrated formulas on the market) and your diaper containment area. I'm thinking of using a trashcan and a couple of those fancy pail liners in bright colors and getting a med. size wetbag for the diaper bag. can you tell me what you do? meeces.pieces@gmail.com
