So the bootie is a hit!!! I WAS able to make the second in the pair--I decided on a yellow bow for an accent. Very cute!!! The bootie is a great and easy way to pass some time and relieve stress!!!
And so today I tried my hand at crochet. Very unnatural--I kept wanting to try to reach for the "other" needle. !!! But crochet stitches are really pretty and I wanted to be suffiently dangerous with a hook, so here I go!
I've started the "Pound of Love" hooded baby afghan pattern but we'll see how far on that I actually get! I'm 1/4 of the way through the second row, and it was a difficult journey. The verdict on crochet is still out, but I may have to say that I prefer knitting.
So that's about all over here!
The official countdown until John returns is less than 12 days. I cannot wait.
