I haven't written a knitting blog in some time, so I figured I'd catch up on that.So my first picture here is of a stocking cap I made for Baby right after we found out we were expecting. It's rather large, but I'm sure we will get good use out of it. Kids wear a lot of hats here.
Second pic is on Baby Koogler's first afghan. It's a kind of wave or seashell pattern that is nice and soft and knitting up nicely. If the color looks a little weird on your screen, let me assure you that it is green and not blue. We have no idea about the gender yet and will let you know as soon as we do!
So I've been busily trying to knock out about an hour of knitting on this blanket a day and it's coming along. I get about an inch done per hour. Just 28 or so more inches to go before I can bind off. On second thought, I really don't like to think about blankets that way; it makes them seem neverending.
Naturally, I want to know what all you knitters out there are working on. If you find a cute pattern for a baby hat that's kind of square with the little pom-poms on the corners at the top, please let me know. I really want to do one of those before Baby comes.
That's about all for today. It's another rainy one here, but at least the rainy days are not as cold.
I hope to have some more interesting stuff soon. We're kind of in a lull over here, which I guess is fine as most people are busy with Christmas and don't have time to read the blog anyway!
Have fun!
