So here are some observations:
1. Our shipment of stuff from Ireland will arrive tomorrow. That's a week after we did. Very impressive.
2. I LOVE junk mail here. (Just kidding). My favorites are the SUPER-WONDERFUL-FANTASTIC mortgage offers that are "guaranteed to knock your socks off" with a rate of. . . higher than what you are already paying. OR the ones whose "files indicate you have an adjustable rate mortgage at whatever percent" when you clearly have a fixed rate. These people are invading my home with useless paper. At least get your facts straight!
3. I find it ironic that I have appropriated my DH's 24 Hour Fitness t-shirt he got for signing up this weekend, and I wore it on my walk today with the Hot Mamas. There's just something sick and twisted about a large pregnant woman advertising for a gym.
4. I also have appropriated some of my husband's workout shorts for exercising as I own exactly one pair of shorts, a skirt, and a pair of capris that are appropriate for Texas weather. Everything else wardrobe/pants-wise is great. . .if you live in Ireland. (Thank you again, Isa, for the blouse--it is a lifesaver right now!!!) DH has not yet realized I have appropriated them. Surprise, honey!
5. Is it sick and twisted that I am thrilled with the new tile in our entryway because it matches Tex? It's also the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen. It just happens to match our designer dog. And he knows it. His new favorite spot is reclining on the new tile and looking all sultry. I'll take some pics later to share.
6. Did I mention our shipment is arriving from Ireland tomorrow? Now I really have some unpacking to do! Just when I put the last storage box out in the garage we get a whole new shipment! With baby stuff! Yay!!!!
7. One of my biggest fears has been bathing KidZilla, so one of the Hot Mamas "loaned" me her daughter this afternoon so I could practice bathing her. We both survived and were not traumatized. Infants are certainly slippery when wet, but we made it through unscathed!
8. The other Hot Mama let me practice with her stroller on our walk today as her Papacito wanted a little cuddling instead of the stroller. It makes me sound like a moron that I need all this baby practice, but if you saw my "drunk driving" with the stroller you would have understood. I can already tell we're going to have some crazy/funny/really sad and pathetic moments with KidZilla when he or she arrives. I guess that's what parenthood is all about.
9. I successfully did not worry about the dogs being out in the backyard for hours while I was out of the house today. This is a huge step as I am overly concerned that they will escape. Funny thing is, they were more energetic after spending hours outside and playing than they are when they spend the day lazing around the house. There is no wearing out these pups.
10. Blanco is once again my BFF. (see post below to understand why that Benedict Arnold had some sucking up to do!)

I'm impressed with your boxes getting shipped to you in a week, it must be nice to get the house sorted before the big arrival.
Dear sabrina. I like random. It's a bit like eavesdropping.
So sad - I can not comment from work any more and when I get home I forget. So hopefully I will remember to read your blog early in the morning or after school. Of course, I only have 2 more weeks and then I can read it whenever I want!
I can't believe everyrthing will be back with you so quickly. Glad you had some fun 'baby' practising, some of the strollers have minds of their own -they should come with L-plates!!
