I guess one might say that my actual "post" is below and here is the meme that I intended to be the post before I got sidetracked about the fate of my dogs. . .
Three things that scare me. . .
*heights
*spiders
*the thought that something might happen to my DH and he would die
Three people that make me laugh...
* my DH
* my friend Shauna
* Will Farrell
Three things I love...
* lavender
* waking up with my DH on one side and two tail-wagging puppy faces on the other side of the bed
* showering then slipping into clean sheets
Three things I hate/severely dislike...
* when the dogs bark ceaselessly at nothing and refuse to stop. Especially if they are in a small room with me and I have a headache.
* when people assume that I am completely miserable being pregnant/that I cannot wait to have this baby/that I will schedule an induction or section because that's more "convenient" (I truly understand that this is just people I do not know making small talk at the check-out line and they are trying to be nice and friendly, but seriously, people, when did bringing a life into this world become such an inconvenient pain in the ass to everyone but me?)
* swollen hands--much worse than swollen feet
Three things I don't understand...
* physics. Seriously. It took everything I could not to make a "B" in this class in high school. I got downright unethical. Yes, I totally copied Thomas Benson's work. But, hey, so did everyone else.
* why on earth Pearland does not have a Luby's. I mean, seriously. We have the requisite number of babies and old-timers. GIVE US OUR LUBY'S. I'll even settle for a Piccadilly.
* why some people don't suffer from jet lag
Three things on my desk. . .(on the part where the computer is--our "desk" is this huge wall unit)
* reference books: Thesaurus, Dictionary, Spanish-English dictionary
* post-it notes: Stephanie's cell phone number, list of baby items we need to get before having the kid
* my feet (elevating)
Three things I'm doing right now...
* elevating my feet
* wishing the waistband on these maternity pants was not so restrictive
* feeling the baby's hiccoughs. I think it tickles
Three things I want to do before I die...
* aside from raising a family and growing old with my DH watching our great-grandkids play from the porch of some awesome retirement cabin in a gorgeous valley somewhere we've settled after a full live of travel and adventure? yeah, I guess that pretty much sums it up.
Three things I can do well...
* school. I was really great at school. Not teaching, but going to school and making good grades.
* type. pretty well, at least
* organize and make lists. For all the good it will do me when we have a kid and live on someone else's time
Three things I can't do well...
* walk without bumping into things
* communicate (just ask the DH)
* separate the immediate present situation from the daydreamy big picture (I swear this is a male/female thing)
Three things you should listen to...
* what your neighborhood sounds like in the morning before everyone is up and about but just as the sun is rising
* your body
* your closest friends
Three things you should never listen to...
* the e-mails that tell you how much weight you should gain during pregnancy. They are all written by men or by women who have never been pregnant.
* when anyone you don't know gives you their opinion about something they have no idea what they are talking about
* anything by Gwen Stefani, as it gets stuck in your head
Three things I'd like to learn...
* wilderness survival skills (although I'd rather just read about it to learn instead of doing things first-hand) (sorry, that's a joke between my DH and me)
* how to speak another language (something more useful daily than Polish, my last language experience)
* to be either a dog or baby whisperer
Three favorite foods...
* pizza
* sushi (ooooooh, I am sooooo craving the stuff)
* Luby's macaroni and cheese
Three shows I watched as a kid...
* Full House
* Family Matters
* Wrestling (seriously. I am not kidding, just ask my dad)
Three things I regret...
* not taking more pictures while on vacation (all vacations--I am horrible about taking pictures)
* not enjoying what my body looked like more before I was pregnant
* spending so much time when I was younger caring about what people thought (or what I thought people thought) about me
Three people I tag. . .
I am so not tagging anyone. This took a long time.

I love Luby's too. Greg refuses to go. He says it for old people, but I always want the roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and mac and cheese. Yes I know this is too many sides, but I really want them all!
Stiggs: I'm right there in line with you. Hey, do you want to go to Luby's Thursday instead of B&N? I feel the Luann platter a'callin' me! (Oh, for me it's the fish with the mac and cheese with the hot, buttery roll!!!! YUMM!!)
Dear sabrina. Luby's? Picadilly's? Explanation and photos please! Suburban Houston is as interesting to me, as Kyiv is to everyone else. I can't WAIT to visit the states one day - I'm sure it will be so familiar, and yet so foreign!
The internal hiccups...aren't they funny? My son had them ALL the time in utero...and now...he still gets them all the time! You'll have to let me know if it's something that happens with your little one too.
LMM: Today's post was for you, chica!
CC: I will definitely let you know if this one has a hiccup thing going on after he/she is born! That would be so funny!
