Bound to be famous. ..

I will start out today with a shout out to Culinary/Caffeinated Cowgurl, one of my faves across the pond via California, who is a mom and a foodie (slightly intimidating to me, a person who's recipes are all from the "5 ingredients or less" kind of cookbooks), who understands the Jeep lifestyle and writes about cool stuff that I really enjoy. Like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and fitting back into the prebaby clothes. She's got a new blog now--a lovely synthesis of her two alter egos. She's now over at Just This Side of Normal and you should check her out. CC recently heralded me with some awards and one day I will figure out how to add them to my blog so I look smart and cool. Like back in high school when you had your letterman jacket and you had all those patches from band or National Honor Society or the Anchor Club and you couldn't wait for your mom to get them all sewn on so everyone would see what a geek you were. Or maybe that's just me. ..
But back to the matter at hand. ..thank you, Chica, for the awards (Thoughtful Blogger and Power of Schmooze). I enjoy your posts and I'm glad you visit me, too!!!

We had some more firsts and important announcements over here. . .
Some may remember that the DH played in the Irish American Football League for the Cork Admirals. I joked about him going to the Irish Super Bowl--the Shamrock Bowl. Well, as luck would have it, his team IS playing in the Shamrock Bowl this weekend. I gave him the A-okay to fly back but he is being really sweet and not going. Good luck to the Admirals to beat Limerick.

Zane and I went to our first Mommy and Me yoga class at Sundance Yoga today. He really did great, despite being kind of overwhelmed. He's such a trooper. There was a reporter and photographer from the Galveston Daily News there as they were putting together a feature for this weekend's paper. So we may both be famous. Yippee!

This is not a photo from yoga, but this was us playing yesterday. I think Z is really close to smiling at things because he recognizes them, not just as some sort of sleepy response. Today I really think he smiled at the overhead light in the bedroom. (I told you he likes light) Yesterday he seemed to recognize Tex. Pretty cool.
I'm sure we have more to mention, but that's all I have time for today. There are so many things I want to post about but they keep getting moved back because of awesome day to day stuff. I'll get to all that eventually!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!
