Excuses, excuses. . .

So, wow, I can't believe almost a whole week has gone by since I posted that rather not-interesting post. . .my, how the time flies.
But if you could see my blogging space right now you would understand. I took a picture, but I am too lazy to try to upload, etc. right now. That, and the munchkin seems to only be napping these days while strapped to my body, and I didn't want to risk jostling him too much to plug in the camera. Basically, all of my china is resting on the desk in the study while we finish up the kitchen tiling project.
What? you ask. The tiling is not done? Didn't you start that, like, three weeks ago?
Yes, my friends, it is not finished. But you have to define "finished" with any home improvement project.
If finished is: tile is on the floor with mortar and grout and the grout is cleaned, then, yes, we are done.
If finished is: grout is all sealed and we have replaced the quarter-round along the baseboards, then, no, we are not finished.
All furniture, etc. from the kitchen is still in the front rooms.
Naturally, when you start one huge home improvement project, it leads to so many more.
Now that we have new tile and are going to need to repaint the baseboards, I feel it's time to put on that final coat of paint in the kitchen that we've needed to do for, um, three years. (It's a pale yellow that just is splotchy in places. . .)
Of course, there are the three million other projects that we want/need to do as well. . .
well, my blogging time is up for today. ..
see you soon. . .

Isn't that the truth? Endless list of projects and as soon as one gets finished, 3 more get added to it? Hang in there and don't worry about blogging.

There is no such thing as "easy household project". It doesn't exist.
