Heapin' helpin' of Tuesday. . .

So I have nothing more than random snippets today, but at least I am blogging and after this weekend, that is an accomplishment unto itself. . .

1. Zane was sick Sunday--pukalicious--but now is better. It was stressful but he is fine.
2. Z-man will be THREE MONTHS OLD this Friday. I cannot believe it. I refuse to let him grow up. We had an agreement, dammit, that he would not get any older. And he is breaking our terms. Liar.
3. Proof that Weight Watchers works: I stopped counting my points last week and gained back TWO POUNDS. Argh. I'm sure that has nothing to do with the brownies I made last Wednesday night and all the brownies I ate for the rest of the week. Yum. Did someone say chocolate? Totally worth it.
4. I may have to stop blogging about my neighbor and his garbage. We had him over for dinner with some other neighbors this weekend and I think my "Trash Watch" freaks him out. And I'm afraid he'll discover that I've been blogging about him and not be our friend. Remember, he MUST be our new BFF with his ginormous 42-inch plasma. . .
5. It's "preview week" or whatever on television and we are sucked into the tube nightly. I really hate watching tv but sometimes it is nice. Last night we watched the HEROES premiere, and where was the final scene but CORK, IRELAND. Of course, I was changing a diaper in the other room and missed it when my DH started screaming, "Cork, Cork, they're in Cork!" Then he dissolved in a tearful mess about how much he misses Ireland. . . .Let's hope THE OFFICE focuses on Pam and Jim (important stuff) with no European adventures.
6. I really hate watching tv.
7. Isn't this picture of Tex and Zane awesome???? Our dogs have been really sweet to the boy.
8. I promise I have been reading your blogs. It's just difficult to type when holding the kiddo and my computer refuses to save my info for comments and it's just too difficult to type in everything every time. I promise, I'll be a better fan soon.
9. The kitchen tiling is almost done--just have to put down quarter round and do some touch-up painting. Yippee!! It looks great, but I'm waiting until it is "done, done" to post pics!
