. . .and I'm watching you, Dear Neighbor,
No, I'm not really judging you. I'm just getting to know you.
I'm learning that you don't have a clue about recycling. Or reusing. Or giving things that are slightly worn to someone who might need it more than the dump.
I'm learning that you don't know the waste disposal rules (ie, no paint in the general trash). And who really does?
I'm learning that you have a ton of disposable income because you buy really cool stuff each weekend.
Again, I'm not judging, but you make me want to coordinate a neighborhood recycling pickup. "Call me: I'll recycle your cardboard for you!" my flier would read.
Mostly, you just make me want to be your friend, because I saw the box for the FREAKIN' GINORMOUS PLASMA SCREEN TV you just bought, and I know you have cable and COLLEGE FOOTBALL season is starting and I want to nosh on some nachos on your couch watching my 'HORNS whup up on some teams on your GIANT PLASMA TELEVISION.
So, "Hi," neighbor. Let's hang out sometime. I'll even bring the nachos.

You crack me up! Thanks! ;-) I dont have a new plasma but you are welcome to come to L-town to watch the games anytime... We are even close enough to almost hear the crowds roar at "tu". ;-)
Have a great day and hug those guys for me! oh.... and.... GO TECH!

Speaking of recycling, where did you get your grocery bags. My Krogers sells some, but they are tiny and kinda expensive. So I am on the lookout for better ones. Any helpful hints
Cindy: Hope the move and all has gone well! Hugs to you and your fam!!! Missing you!!!
Aimee: I bought most of mine in Ireland, but I use a canvas bag that we got from PetsMart for giving a donation. Any canvas-type bag will work. I also saw an ad for bags called Chiccobag or something like that, and they were reasonably priced (I think about $3 per bag is pretty standard).
okay, it's chicobag.com and they are $5 each but they come in rad colors. even using one or two of your own bags drastically cuts down on the plastic ones they give you! (or you can always bring back the plastic ones for reuse)
Ha ha that was great... I really thought it was going to be a rant about the neighbours!
