So my little man will be five months old tomorrow. I am shocked at how quickly time has gone by. Pretty soon he will be sitting up on his own and then--gasp--crawling. I am completely unprepared for him to be mobile.
I hosted our neighborhood playgroup yesterday and (1) learned vital lessons about how poorly kid-proofed my house currently is and (2) got really sad at how the time flies and before I know it my baby will be an honest to goodness toddler.
What can I do other than enjoying each and every moment, no matter how tired I might be or how loud the crying might be or how foul the poop might be. . .
I've just been so fortunate to be able to stay at home and be there for all of the "firsts." I'm so thankful to me DH for all he does for us to be able to work things out this way.

Dear sabrina. He sure is a cutie. But you know how it goes. He'll get cuter and cuter as he becomes a toddler, and then you'll remember him as a baby, and then you'll want another baby, and lo and behold, you'll get pregnant again and have another baby in a couple of years' time!
