Ultrasound Appointment

The short version: had my ultrasound today. A doctor will read it in the next 24-48 hours and report the results to Bernadette, my CNM, who will then contact me with the results. Very easy, painless, and not scary at all.

The long version:
I am incredibly thankful for and to my friend, Stiggs, who came to the appointment with me. She and her daughter Bailey watched Zane for me while I went in for the ultrasound. She even offered to change a possibly poopy diaper. Now that's a real friend: one who will check out your kid's diaper to determine if it is poop or just a(nother) noxious fart. Thank you so much.
Lots of people asked if Zane and Bay were twins. ??? They look nothing alike. People are funny.
Then we headed over to Panera for a nice, long lunch which was EXACTLY what I needed. Thanks.
No one there asked if they were twins.
Perhaps the patients at the imaging center were so delirious with hunger as to think our both adorable and dazzling children were twins.
At least they are the same age, unlike the time we went out with Jillian and Curtis (who is SIX months OLDER than Z) and people were lining up to ask if they were twins.
So back to the update: Hopefully I will hear something by Friday.
Thank you again, Stiggs and Bay for coming with today. I really, really, really appreciate it!

You're welcome. You know the only reason I went was the possibility of seeing your boobs!! :-)

You are in my prayers each and every day. Much love.
