Non-resolution #1

Where has the time gone? Before I knew it, 10 days passed since my last post. I've wrapped up my Christmas frenzy weeks ago, so I can't blame the downward consumerist spiral for my absence. . .nor can I blame much on the baby as he has been relatively easy. I've just been out of the loop.
Anyway. . .I've been thinking about the start of the new year and all those resolutions we resolve to be resolute about. Last time I made resolutions and shared them with someone I got laughed at (karaoke party two years ago; I wanted "to learn to knit"; I'll never wipe my memory of Kat and Cassie belting out "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"). Oh and they all laughed about my knitting dreams until they saw my first creation. So, ha.
Anyway. . .I think this year I'm going to resolve to not do things.

#1. I'm going to stop forgetting to write down brilliant blog ideas when they come to me. Because right now I can't forget what my first non-resolution was.

Crap.

Oh well, I'm working up my list. Checking it twice. Hopefully I'll remember something soon.

But I'd better distribute some pens around the house so I can take notes on my blogspirations when they strike.

Unlike now, where I'm left out in the cold, desperately grasping for a forgotten post idea.

Sigh.

And a partridge in a pear tree.

I hear ya sistah!!! I have a little notebook that I write down ideas (or whole posts sometimes). I have also gotten up at 10pm when a brilliant idea comes to mind. Oh well. Right now brilliant means something not about poop or boobs. Yeah, brilliant!

WT's right everyone loves pictures. It's one thing having the ideas but finding the time to produce a well written post is not easy (I'm speaking for myself here)!

hmmm. I recently discovered this great little site called jott.com.

You set it up online first. You enter your cell number. It texts you to confirm your number...

Then, it uses caller id to route your calls to it...

at that point, you can leave a voice message which you can later retrieve... but oh yeah, you don't have to. It transcribes what you say (usually pretty well) and emails it to you.

and it's free.
