If you've ever awarded yourself the "Worst Mother of the Year" award for your kid eating crumbs from the bottom of the kiddie cart at the grocery store, or for letting your kid eat Girl Scout cookies, or for your kid skydiving off the bed, or for forgetting to put sunscreen on your child one time. . . PLEASE click on this link and read this amazing post by Sabrina Porterfield. (love that name, btw)
There has been a ton of hatemongering out there across the board in the blogosphere between moms judging moms lately. So sad that this is coming out right before mother's day. Perhaps it's all because of mother's day. Regardless, I thought this post really put into perspective what "bad" moms really do and how we don't all need to tear each other down for our own decisions and choices. If we spent half as much energy working together in our sisterhood of momness as we do criticizing and judging each other, this would be a heck of a better place to raise these kiddos.
So breastfeeding or bottle, cloth or disposable, vegan or meat-lovin', co-sleeping or crying it out, here's to moms everywhere. Happy Mother's Day!

I popped over there and read her post. She was spot on.
I would like to take those truly "bad" mothers and plunk them in a cell and throw away the keys.
I just seethe when I read about child abuse.
