LOST recap

So the finale was AWESOME. Not quite as intense as last season's or some of this season's episodes, but GREAT, nonetheless.
Some thoughts (not that anyone asked or cares, but. . .)

I SO called it that John Locke was in that coffin. Last season, even! So interested in how the Jeremy Bentham thing plays out. Now did he leave the island because now that he's the "new Ben" he can come and go as he pleases or was he forced to leave because he moved the island like Ben did. . . who else thought "Bentham" was Abbadon?

Sun is one mean bee-atch!!! How 'bout some forgiveness!!! Interesting that she is shaping up to be the new villan!!! Spend more time with that baby and less time getting revenge, yo! Jin was all about forgiveness for your ho-bag self! Interesting. . .

Sayid's hair-dos. . . I know we saw him post-Island with the straight hair before, but it really stuck with me in this episode. All I can imagine in Sayid with his Chi straightening those long, luxorious locks every morning.

And what is up with him sneaking in on Hurley? Am I the only one who thought he just might kill Hurley?????? Yo, that was stressful.

Jack, poor Jack. Certainly not Happy Jack. Dude's got some ISSUES. I totally read Therese's blog on www.chron.com and I get the whole "hero's journey" thing, but I just find him such an unlikely savior. I guess that's the point, huh?

Okay, and I get that Kate doesn't want to go back. Claire doesn't want them to go back (did she put on weight? maybe the ghost-life is tough. perhaps the roads are paved with donut holes. dunno.) So now can Aaron be raised and not be some Damien devil child even though Claire's "goodness" is not around? Still don't get all that.

Charlotte? Now she's an important character? "Still looking for where I was born?" And what's up with creepy Miles: "What do I mean?" The DH thinks he's part of the "really bad stuff" that happened once Jack left.

So happy for Desmond and Penny. But, dammit, he better still be on the show. He's got lots of hiding from her dead old daddy now, doesn't he?

Did the people on the raft get moved with the island? I would be sad if Daniel and his neuroses did not return next season.

Yay Sexy Sawyer and Juliet on the beach with their cocktails. . .crazy!!! Lub Sawyer.

Okay, that's all I have time for. I actually need to get stuff done. Gah. . .

But at least I'm not as busy as Sayid, straightening all that hair. . ..
