The shrug gets a shrug. . .

So here it is. . .my first real knitted article of clothing. It's a shrug, and I think it deserves a shrug. Yesterday I was happy that the sleeves were at least the same length. . . it's just that the length is a little long!!! This is certainly not a flattering item on me!!!! Perhaps with some modifications I can make this into a more attractive piece--don't get me wrong, it's gorgeous until you put it on!!! I love the yarn and the pattern--it's just a little off!!!!
I have to commend the new "Romance" yarn from Lion Brand. One ball is A LOT of yarn!!!!!!
It's kind of hard to take a decent picture of yourself, so I'm looking forward to John getting home Thursday!!! so he can help out in the department!!! Yay!!!!!
I checked and his flight left Shanghai early on its way to Paris. One step closer to coming home!
I'm watching the Emmy's tonight and have realized that I don't recognize 3/4 of the shows they are talking about. Oh well!!!

Now I guess I really have to boogie on the last big project I MUST finish before we move!
