So John made it home!!! Thank goodness!!! Thanks to everyone for their prayers--he made it with no problems and just a little stress over a rushed connection. I'll have to keep this short. . .
He looked at five places in Poland, and four were possibilities. There are just some things about living overseas that seem rather foreign to Americans. For example, you see things like this in the kitchen:
If you guessed that's a clothes washer and dryer beneath the cooking utensils, you are correct!!!
I'll post more housing options later. Hopefully we'll know where we'll be living next week or so. At least we have options!!!
