So I only have about 13 minutes before I need to go pick John up from work (we only have one car--some day I'll post about that) but I HAD to put something up today just so the first thing people saw was NOT my Fun Monday contest post.
Stephanie tagged the MamaDrama readers to submit a note of thanks, and I might be a day late on that. . .but I really do feel the need to (gut)wrench out that post.
I decided to get my haircut today and the 30 minute appointment I planned for took an hour and 15 minutes, so I'm running behind. . . Plus I tried out a new recipe I might consider for Beccy's Fun Monday contest next week and cleaned the house, yadda, yadda, yadda. So again with another day that totally disappeared before I realized it was gone! And no knitting accomplished nor the five phone calls I was supposed to make *yesterday* while I was busy blog-hopping for Fun Monday.
Oh, and I HEART my new haircut!!! It's the one I got the entire time I lived in Austin and never had to even describe what I wanted because, well, everyone had this haircut. Since I moved to Houston (and now here) no one gets it. . .until today. Yay! My new hairstylist is perhaps my new BFF.
So okay with the randomness and I've got to run. Literally. Out the door to pick up John so we can go to the gym.
By the way. . I'm having trouble fitting on the exercise bicycle because my belly gets in the way. .. not a complaint--just a statement of fact. (Oh, pregnant belly bump in the way--not just "too much partying belly" just to clarify.)
Running now for real. . .

Good to know it's not a partying bump. :-) What an adventure to have a baby in a foreign country. If you don't mind, I'll be tuning back in!
Also, I LOVED your comment about the lack of pants in China; I sent it off to my hubby!
dear sabrina. You HAVE to tell about the haircut. I'm returning to oz next week and taking advantage of the fact they have real hairdressers here - gone from pixie cut for about 10 years to grown out shab. It's embarrassing. Inspire moi!
I'm dying to see the haircut, I've been growing my hair for a while and it badly needs a style. Thinking of booking for next week so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Amber: Glad I stumbled on your blog and I plan to stop by more, so keep visiting!
LMM: I met the sweetest Aussie chica working at the toy store yesterday and felt connected to you. Virtual hug! Hope the hair cutting goes well!
Beccy: Hope the ideas help! And I'll look forward to seeing your new 'do, too!
